Shawn Ticehurst is the Head of the IAG Research Centre in Sydney.  IAG is Australia/NZ’s largest general insurer with brands such as NRMA Insurance, ROLLiN’ and CGU.  The IAG Research Centre focuses on automotive research in topics such as vehicle repair, building relationships with OEM vehicle brands, creating repair innovation and investigating the impacts of new automotive technology with an insurance lense.  Shawn has worked in the automotive industry for 30 years in Australia, Germany and the USA and previously with brands such as BMW and Audi.  Shawn has been involved with electric vehicles for close to 10 years.

Richard Lindsay, the 2022 Australian Teacher Trainer of the Year, is well known across the industry for his innovative methodologies in educational training. Since 2021, he has served as a Level 2 Teacher for the CIT Electric Vehicle program, leading the design and implementation of advanced training solutions for electric vehicle technicians. His strategic leadership facilitated the introduction of Australia's first Certificate III in Electric Vehicle Technology apprenticeship, available nationally. In July 2024, Richard was promoted to Industry and Training Manager of the newly established Electric Vehicle TAFE Centre of Excellence.
