Special Event

The kunanyi Challenge is a fun event to test your driving efficiency.  Drive your own EV, or even hire one!  Drive to the top of kunanyi / Mt Wellington and we'll measure how much energy you use.  For full details, including the rules, see the main kunanyi Challenge page.

You can register for Saturday or Sunday.  Press the green button to register for Saturday 2nd November 2024.  If you'd rather compete on Sunday, follow this link to the Sunday registration.

The competition will take about 2 hours total.  Entrants will be given a random time during the day to arrive.  If you only have a limited time window, please let us know in the comments when you register.

We will be running this event with AEVA volunteers.  We need volunteers for setup, marshals, data entry etc.  Competitors can also volunteer, there is a tickbox on the registration form.  If you don't want to compete, but would like to volunteer, contact Christopher Walkden to register your interest.
