Description

AEVA ACT member Lauren Brand visited the central zone of Chile in October 2025 and spent some time spotting everything electric she could find and chatting with friends and acquaintances about their EV experiences and opinions. Lauren will present a talk, from her personal experience and additional research, on the situation for electric mobility in Chile including passenger vehicles, public transport, freight and supplying the renewable power for the transition. From a casual onlooker point of view, what are the achievements to date and the challenges and opportunities of the future for this South American nation?

AEVA ACT member Richard Scherer will also be presenting a summary of the AEVA member survey. Richard has helped to run the AEVA member survey for two years now.
