Description
For years the only way to go EV was to convert and now, despite growing availability of production EVs, we also have a growing membership with fabulous classic, vintage and veteran EV conversions.
The biggest and best way to showcase these is in the annual Bay to Birdwood in South Australia.

Since 2022 this event has included an award for EV Conversions - one of the first in the world to do so - fantastic news for our members. AEVA is offering support for members who wish to enter the Bay to Birdwood and showcase their pre 1996 EV Conversions.
Over 1500 classic and historic vehicles will travel from West Beach through city streets and follow a gentle climb through the countryside and quaint hills townships to the National Motor Museum in Birdwood and are cheered on by over 100,000 spectators along the route. It's huge!
Are you an AEVA member (or willing to become one) who is keen to showcase your historic EV conversion at the Bay to Birdwood? AEVA is supporting up to 5 entrants from interstate, so take up this amazing opportunity!
